The Topz Are Very Lucky

We know two very beautiful people: Donna and Dan Burton (Ma and Pa), who generously provide us with not only their sons (Matt and Jeff, our bruthas), but also a fantastic piece of family property that the club has used for as a camp site for scootouring for 18 years running now.

This year's weather really set it off, too. The property they lend us is already too gorgeous for words, but with the bright sun shining down, it looked like heaven to everyone after the long ride.

The tents quickly went up, and the kegs were tapped even quicker.Cardi had the grill going, and the fire was blazing in just a few minutes after we broke camp. The weather continued to treat us right. True, we did get about 10 minutes of a slight drizzle at one point, but it didn't distract us from the good time, and the sun came out even stronger after that.

After beer bungie, the pinata, and much partying, everyone settled around the campfire for awards and a special presentation to Ma and Pa. Most eventually wandered off to their tents, while a few die-hards kept tending the flames.

Truly one of our better outings.
